Cell phone detection systems are available here to protect from bugging and unauthorized use in areas that prohibit them. These inexpensive detectors are always on guard to warn users that they may not use them. They feature both visual and audible warnings in your choice of language. The new units feature the ability to detect phones in 'standby' mode since they pickup the short bursts of data sent by the phone periodically. Choose your mode of operation below.

The Model 610 Cell Phone Detector Plus

There are 2 modes to the detection system:

1. Casual use elimination (healthcare, libraries, etc. where you get 1 or 2 units)

2. Silent capture mode (jails & detention centers, military installations, government buildings, etc.)

In the "Casual Elimination" mode there are 3 alerts that are variable: voice, beep and flashing LED indicators.

In the "Silent Capture" mode the active detectors provide no outward indication of the alarm. The alert signal quickly transmits the location of the intruder to vibrating pocket pagers via rapid text messaging so that responders know immediately which one has been set off and can intercept the offending unit in the act. Time is of the essence and we built it to be FAST.

From Detect to Alert the time lapse is typically 5-7 seconds. 

Note that these systems are specifically designed to be retrofitted into older buildings. We have rapid deployment wiring that is non-invasive and inexpensive to install.

How it works:

While not a metal detector, the Cell Phone Detector Plus senses the radio frequency (RF) transmissions from nearby cellular telephones, offending two-way radios, bugs and other wireless communication devices. When a transmission is detected, an “Alarm” cycle begins depending upon Casual or Silent mode as outlined above.

Power: Ordinary "C" size alkaline batteries (which last 6 months to a year under normal use) or optional AC power adaptor for 110 Volts and may also be central system powered in either of the silent capture modes.
